PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: A singe-component, thermally-stable adhesive designed to weld cracks and holes in metal surfaces.
WORKS BEST ON: Metal and metal substrates, cast iron, steel. Use on manifolds, exhaust pipes, catalytic converters, mufflers, furnaces, boilers, barbecue grills.

- Curing time - air dry for 3 to 4 hours. Gradually heat repair for 10 – 15 minutes to complete cure using a heat gun capable of attaining 350ºF – 400ºF.
- Temperature Range: up to 2000ºF
- Chemical Solvent Resistance: fuels, oils. Not recommended for long term exposure to chemicals and solvents.
- Storage: Seal container tightly after use. Store in a cool, dry environment.
SURFACE PREPARATION: Remove rust by sanding, wire brush or sandblasting. Relieve stress in cracked castings by v-grooving the crack and drilling 1/8" hole at both ends of the crack. Remove all dirt using lacquer thinner. Burn off any oil or grease residue.
REMOVAL METHODS: Before cure, wipe off excess. After Cure: chip, sand or file to remove.
HELPFUL HINTS: MIX CONTENTS THOROUGHLY. Spread Inferno Metal Repair evenly with a putty knife. For pits, cracks and small holes, a maximum of 1/4" thickness is recommended for each application. If a second application is necessary, make sure the first application is cured. For holes larger than 3/8", use metal screen and apply two coats of Inferno Metal Repair to the repair. Seal container tightly after use.
If bubbling occurs due to rapid cure or poor surface preparation, allow surface to cool, then scrape off the blistered material and reapply adhesive.
Cured material can be machined or sanded as needed.
