Agriemach have just introduced a new in-line diesel cleaning system to their extensive range of engine protection products.
DE-BUG as it is known, is fitted into the diesel fuel line before the main fuel filter. As the diesel and contaminants pass through the patented magnetic structure, a flux field is created which destroys the bacteria and sludge contaminants, which are broken down into such fine particles that they pass freely through the main fuel filter, pump and injectors and are burned up during the combustion process.
DE-BUG is encased in LM6 marine grade anti-corrosive aluminium alloy, which incorporates a purpose designed drain bowl which catches inorganic materials and water before they reach the filter, further extending filter service life.
This system is approved and recommended by Shell, Caterpillar, The US Navy and many other major companies, for use as a protection device for any engine running on diesel fuel where sludge and/or water is a problem.
The DE-BUG range also have NATO approved product numbers to back them up.
Diesel contamination is a major problem worldwide even when the diesel leaves the refinery it has traces of dormant bacteria suspended in it. This dormant bacteria comes to life as soon as it is in contact with water which is created by condensation caused by the storage tanks heating up and cooling down as temperatures rise during the day and cool down at night. This bacteria then multiplies at an exponential rate which creates the sludge that is found in most diesel tanks.
