PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Muffler-Cast® Bandage Repair Kit will resist the high heat of all exhaust systems and catalytic converters. Muffler-Cast® bonds to all metal surfaces and can be molded into cracks and seams.
WORKS BEST ON:
mufflers, resonators, tailpipes and other exhaust components.
- Color: White
- Water Resistant
- Non-Flammable
- Temperature Resistance: 350ºF
- Curing Time: Let set 1 hour. Full cure after 24 hours.
- Note: temperature and humidity, gap and thickness of product applied affect the curing rate.
- Chemical Solvent Resistance: water and oil
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry environment in unopened container below 80ºF
SURFACE PREPARATION: Exhaust system should be cold before repair is started.
Thoroughly clean all surfaces of grease, oil, traces of paint, dust, etc.
REMOVAL METHODS:
Clean up excess with water prior to material drying. Thoroughly clean hands with soap and water.
AFTER CURE
Use mineral spirits.
HELPFUL HINTS:
If product separates or settles during shipping, mix it as the liquid is the hardening agent; gently knead the tube, with cap on.
