AUTOMOTIVE SPONGE FOAM (LARGE SQUARE) – TUSF/LS

Automotive Fire Stop Sponge will block the flame of an engine or fuel cell fire where there is movement required in the firewall.  In most vehicles there are small shafts or cables that rotate or move in and out like the throttle or steering rod.  These openings can be encapsulated in the Fire Stop Sponge.

This sponge will not catch fire and allows for movement.  The material does not intumesce (swell up) like the putty in the Fire Stopper Sleeve or harden like the Unique Expanding Foam.  The material will block a fire and acts as an insulator from the heat.  The sponge will soak up the flame!
